At the foot of the Montello, surrounded by vineyards, an old farmhouse preserves the authentic character of its rural architecture. On the stone and brick façade, the sage-green wooden shutters echo the colours of the countryside, while the exposed studs and burnished hardware underline their handcrafted character.

Once over the threshold, the language becomes more contemporary. In restoring the existing building, no two windows are alike: each one was surveyed and made to measure, following the irregular profile of the masonry and respecting its geometry and proportions, including the segmental arch. Generous sections make the most of the thick walls and turn the windows into true frames for the landscape.

Inside, brushed larch echoes the warm tones of the exposed beams and converses with the textured surfaces of the house. Enclosing it, the iron frame creates a clean break from the stone, while the brass of the handles adds a touch of light.
Particular care went into the handle itself, designed to measure in shape and proportion to meet the client’s wishes. A functional detail that becomes the signature of the window and expresses, in its uniqueness, the value of truly bespoke design.

Wood, iron and brass strike a balance between memory and the present day, fitting into the existing architecture without imitating it.
